This vintage US Army officer’s cap insignia features the Great Seal of the United States in a silver-tone finish. The piece is mounted on its original Lauterstein’s display card from San Antonio. It includes the original backing hardware and appears to be New Old Stock.

The insignia itself is in excellent condition. The original display card shows a vertical crease across the center, along with minor edge wear and surface creasing. The pin back screw has minor marks and is not perfectly straight.
